It wasn’t an April Fools joke. On Friday, April 1st, 2011, “There It Is!” aired for the last time on 1230 ESPN in Bakersfield. It was a great run of more than 700 shows across 3.5 years, but all good things must come to an end and so did the show. Thanks to everybody for all their support, especially my great sponsors, who made it possible, and all of the wonderful listeners who made it such a rewarding experience.

What happened to ESPN 1230? Ridiculous, I went to tune in on Monday and it was political talk radio??? Is 970 our only sports outlet now?
