Allen Iverson is done for the season, possibly for good.  He’s been out for much of the past month, spending time with his family in Atlanta as they deal with the illness of his 4-year-old daughter, Messiah.

If his career is in fact over, I’ll remember him going strong to the hoop, ignoring the fact he was a mere 6-feet, 165-pounds.  His willingness to sacrifice his body for points made him a star, and nearly brought the 76ers a title in 2001. 

I’ll also remember him for some bizarre press conferences, including the famous one in 2002 when he talked repeatedly about practice.
