Brett Favre is back. Supposedly there will now be a training camp battle to see whether he or Aaron Rodgers will be the starter. Um, sure!
They can talk all they want, but if the Packers don’t move Favre in a deal, there’s no way he’s not the man behind center when the season opens. Are we really going to believe that if Rodgers somehow outplays him during drills and preseason games the coaching staff is going to trust that over 16 years of brilliance?
Rodgers is saying all the right things, but there’s no way he can win this battle. The question now is, how many more years will this go on?
