No Fun Allowed at the Olympics
In addition to regular security, the celebration police were called to Canada to make sure nobody had too good a time after winning medals. Thank goodness! If there’s something I can’t stand, it’s athletes releasing all their pent up emotion in a joyous reaction to a fantastic accomplishment.
Canada’s women’s hockey team is the latest group to run afoul of the law, but thankfully there is an investigation underway. There’s no way they should’ve been allowed to come back out of their locker room an hour after the game to party on the ice with champagne and cigars.
If the IOC doesn’t immediately suspend everybody involved and strip Canada of the gold medal, then I’m done watching the games. The Olympics are for competition, not fun!
THERE IT IS!
