Only in the NFL

Only in the NFL…

Can Tom Brady throw for just 140 yards, zero TDs and an INT and have his team win by 10
Can Tony Romo rack up a 22.2 QB rating thanks to zero TDs and three INTs against a sub-.500 team
Can the Dolphins make headlines by winning their first game in Week 15 thanks to an OT TD pass from Lemon to Camarillo
Can the Ravens kick a FG at the end of regulation in that game instead of going for the TD when they had nothing to lose
Can the Steelers run defense give up 147 yards and the game-winning TD at home
Can the Browns offense get just two field goals but still win 8-0 thanks to a snowstorm
Can the Saints move back into playoff contention after an 0-4 start
Can the Lions start the year 6-2 and now sit at 6-8 after another debacle
Can the Chargers be so far ahead in a game against the sorry Lions that backup RB Darren Sproles runs for more yards (122-116) and as many TDs (2) as LT
Can the Raiders have actually led the Colts in the 4th quarter of a game
Can the Bucs have a kickoff return for a TD and its the first in franchise history spanning 32 seasons
Can the Seahawks lose to the Panthers, who were starting their 4th different QB this season
Can the Giants probably make the playoffs with a losing home record (3-4 after loss to Redskins and play the Pats in Week 17)
Can next week’s biggest matchup be between the Vikings (who started 3-6) and the Redskins

THERE IT IS!

  1. The Jags are back bigtime. The Colts and Patriots are both worried and hoping that the other team gets them. A physical defense and monster rushing game. Be Afraid.

  2. Eli Manning wasn’t as bad as his numbers suggest. Receivers, like Toomer, and backs, like Jacobs, were dropping the ball left and right. You can’t move your offense if players drop the easy ones.
